The client does not work at all, the server seems to work.

Try the arla-client instead, it seems to work pretty good.

I dont belive there will be a OpenAFS-port for Tru64 5.1 port very
very soon.

And if there would be a port, with openafs you still cant have your
cache in Advfs (if you dont want to crash). With arla this is not a
problem.

Arla has no working afs-server for production-use at the moment.
