By the way I did get a chance to deploy 1.6.6pre1 on my small test
cell running on Fedora 20. No noticeable regressions in the servers or
clients.

Instead of cherry-picking the newer kernel patches on to 1.6.5.1 I
took the easier way out and pushed 1.6.6pre1 version to RPM Fusion. No
new bugs reported so far.
