Good question. Are there several options using the Win9x or W2K client?

Description: Mit Kerberos key server (KDC)
Kerberos is a system for authenticating users and services on a network.
Kerberos is a trusted third-party service. That means that there is a
third party (the kerberos server) that is trusted by all the entities on
the network (users and services, usually called "principals").
.
This is the MIT reference implementation of Kerberos5.

krb5kdc[944]: PROCESS_V4:Initial ticket request Host: 192.168.1.127 User: "toens" ""
kobalt krb5kdc[944]: PROCESS_V4:V5 REQUIRES_PREAUTH set: "toens" ""
Hm. Username without a realm oder a cell is not enough, right? On the other
hand even the W2K client produces such a log-entry (although there's a
realm/cell-name provided).

I'll try to obtain tokens manually on W2K like someone else suggested.
Thx.
