i'm just curios if i get ssh to work the Bernd> same way. Does ssh
support PAM? If not, you can probably find patches to add PAM support
in the Debian ssh-nonfree packag; look at
http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US/pool/non-us/non-free/s/ssh-nonfree;
someowhere around there should be a .tar.gz and a .diff.gz. The diff
should include PAM support for ssh v1, which you should be able to
adapt for v1 or v2.
Once you have ssh working with PAM, getting it to work with AFS should
be trivial.
