Hi All,=20
I have trouble starting the recent version of OpenAFS on AlphaLinux 22
platform... Everything seems ok, until I start to use the fileserver,
when it seems to die=20
Fri Nov 2 15:38:37 2001: Server directory access is okay
Fri Nov 2 15:48:31 2001: fs:file exited on signal 11
Fri Nov 2 15:48:31 2001: fs:vol exited on signal 15
Fri Nov 2 15:48:32 2001: fs:salv exited with code 0
Fri Nov 2 15:50:02 2001: fs:file exited with code 1
Fri Nov 2 15:50:02 2001: fs:vol exited on signal 15
Fri Nov 2 15:50:02 2001: fs:salv exited with code 0
Fri Nov 2 15:51:32 2001: fs:file exited with code 1
The FileLog says:
Fri Nov 2 15:56:41 2001 File server starting
Fri Nov 2 15:58:11 2001 Cannot initialize RX
At the firs start of the server everything seems to be OK, even the
fileserver starts...
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 File server starting
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 afs_krb_get_lrealm failed, using xxx.dk.
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 Partition /vicepa: attached 1 volumes; 0
volumes not attached
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 Getting FileServer name...
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 FileServer host name is 'afs2.xxx.dk'
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 Getting FileServer address...
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 FileServer afs2.xxx.dk has address
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx (0x2b5fe182 o
r 0x82e15f2b in host byte order)
Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001 File Server started Fri Nov 2 16:03:21 2001
Until I try to reach some data there...
There seems to be 2 problems:
1. bos fails to restart fileserver - I have checked - other fileserver
instances are running, using the ports
2. fileserver dies.
There is no core file... Is there any way to get one? I was trying to
run fileserver with debug, but no meaningful results..
Any idea? (meanwhile I was trying that with 1.1.1 - same results... It
was fine with 1.0.3)
Thanks in advance:
P.Peter
