[OpenAFS] utilization/error statistics

I'd like to monitor afs client and server util and
error statistics.

I notice that my OpenAFS linux clients have
/proc/sys/afs but the contents of the files in that
dir are all just "0".  How do I tell afs clients to
maintain those files?   And what do they mean?

Does OpenAFS provide server side statistics?  If so,
how?  (I'm only running a lone Transarc server.)
