[OpenAFS] fileserver exiting on sig11

Twice yesterday one of my fileservers exited the fs process on a signal
11, causing a looping of the volserver and salvager.

OpenAFS version 1.2.9
OS version RedHat Enterprise Server 2.1
kernel version 2.4.9-e.25smp
fileserver = namei

1) Is this possibly a hardware problem, bad memory, or any other ideas?

2) Where can I find a list of fs process parm settings for OpenAFS? I
tuned the fs process using known IBM AFS parameters, but that was worse
than nothing.
