AFS doesn't look for drive mapping directly. After logon (password
verification) and before the initial shell creation AFS scans the current
mapped drives. These drives are mapped by windows startup code re-mapped by
AFS; hence AFS doesn't save any personal drive maps.
AFS does store global drive mapping in c:/windows/afsdsbmt.ini(sample
include below).
Other members have supplied logon batch files that use the user name
%USERNAME% to personalize login mapping. Most of our members seem to be
satisfied about those options.
