[OpenAFS] Volume stays offline

Hi,

after rebooting one of my fileservers one of the volumes (c.movies.6)
stored on it refuses to become online:

# vos listvol ori a

I repeatedly (> 4x) tried to salvage the volume and the whole partition.

I even dumped and restored the volume - no effect: the new volume stays offline.
Is there a chance to get the files on this volume back?
Is there a tool to extract files out of a file created with 'vos dump'?

Oh, i nearly forgot: openafs version is 1.2.10 on all servers. Only linux is used.
