[OpenAFS] Open AFS, SSL and wireless security.

Hi,
I was wondering if the transport mechanism used by OpenAFS was secure
e.g. an ssl mechanism?
The reason I ask is that I have a wireless network with a few nodes on
it. I would like to be able to set the nodes up as clients for an AFS
server, but I would prefer not to have to go through
the rigmarole of setting up something like an SSL tunnel to ensure no
one can sniff the wireless traffic.....
