He should not have to go all the way back to 344, but try something
reasonable like 2024 if its not a LWP problem. The 12000 was a Windows
ticket with a big PAC problem. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=832572
should help this.

Well, try the AFS_LWP_MINSTACKSIZE larger. Maybe it should be increased
for all archs, as the ktc_token grew by 11656 bytes, and the min stack
was only 48k to start with.
