[OpenAFS] openafs kernel-source and 2.4.20

This is all under redhat 7.3 using openafs 1.2.10 packages.

tried rebuilding for kernel 2.4.20-28 from the openafs kernel-source 
rpm package. I ended up with modules that failed to load due to 
unresolved symbol "kallsyms_address_to_symbol"

However, just doing an rpm --rebuild on the 1.2.10.src.rpm gave me 
kernel modules which seem to load just fine.

So, is there some extra option(s) needed to the ./configure to get the 
modules in the kernel-source package to build properly or is something 
just broken in that package?
