FWIW, on the hosts here running RHEL 3.0, I downloaded the 1.2.10 Fedora
RPMs, including the openafs-kernel-source RPM, and built a kernel module
against the stock RHEL kernel following the instructions in the README
file. The afsmodname script failed to create a useful SymTable.local
file, but the startup script finds and loads the module anyway. That's
not recompiling everything from the SRPMs, but its been working here
without any issues so far.
