[OpenAFS] how to upgrade to 1.3.x ?

i had this problem with serveral suse linux installations.
since suse 8.x (or a little bit earlier) suse has made a default entry
in /etc/host like:

127.0.0.2  fqdn hostname

this can be really anoying if you servers bind to 127.0.0.2 and you
wonder why the hell they're not answering connections from outside.

anyway, this is not he case here so i suggest following derrick's advice
