Yes... meanwhile. :)
I'm still using 1.2.10 everywhere, which I knew wouldn't work. But 
1.2.11 works fine. I tried on a box running kernel 
2.4.20-30.7.legacysmp, it loads libafs-2.4.20-27.7-i686.mp.o. I think 
it's safe to assume that it will work with 2.4.20-30.7.legacy, too.
