Hi

It seems that kaserver is not even running !

 3865 ? 00:00:00 bosserver
 3867 ? 00:00:00 buserver

The logs seem to indicate that the kaserver died looking for the IP
address for the lo interface :

/usr/afs/bin/kaserver: problems with host name Ubik init failed
^M database.
Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 Using level crypt for Ubik connections.
Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 ubik: primary address 127.0.0.1 does not exist
Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 Inconsistent Cell Info from server: Mon May 24
22:24:55 2004 192.168.0.1 Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 192.168.1.1 Mon May
24 22:24:55 2004
Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 Local CellServDB:Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004
Server 1: Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 192.168.1.1 Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004
Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004 Inconsistent Cell Info on server: Mon May 24
22:24:55 2004 192.168.1.1 Mon May 24 22:24:55 2004

The only explanation I can come up with for the above is that at the
time I created kaserver :

bos create sggs.homenetwork.edu kaserver simple /usr/afs/bin/kaserver
-cell HOMENETWORK.EDU -noauth

CellServDB had 127.0.0.1. I corrected that mistake later. Is it possible
to fix this problem if that is indeed the reason or do I need to do a
clean reinstall ?

Thanks,

MS
