[OpenAFS] Upgrade from 1.2.11 to 1.4.2 - problems? (Was: Upgrading from 1.2.11 to 1.3.73 - problems?)

Oki, so I only upgraded the clients to 1.3, not the file- and db
server(s). The file-/dbservers still run 1.2.11.

Now I have the OpenAFS 1.4.2 (and MIT Kerberos 1.4.3) ready
for deployment. Is/Would it be safe (ABSOLUTLY) safe to upgrade
file-/db servers to 1.4 from 1.2?

How many here have done SUCH an upgrade (i.e. not going through
the 1.3 upgrade)?
