That one really was broken. It's fixed now.

Good question. This is also fixed (actually, I fixed it a few days ago,
but forgot to fix the master copy in AFS).

It shouldn't be, unless you're trying to access it via FTP. Generally, the
most current releases are copied to the web server's local disk, while
others are replaced by symlinks to the master copy in AFS. Unfortunately,
the symlinks don't work in the FTP server.
If you have an AFS client already, anything we've ever released can be
copied from /afs/grand.central.org/software/openafs. The daily snapshots
do not currently appear in AFS.
