The network itself should be OK, full switched 100mbit network, every
IP, every name only once, dhcp, ntp now on all PCs, so, from that point
on, it seems to be OK.
My guess is the main database-server, only a PII 300Mhz with root and
AFS-Cache on PIO-HD. Although I don?t know, why that should decrease
speed between two Athlon XP 2000+ OpenAFS 1.3.74 Server/Clients with
UDMA and RAW Speeds >10 MB/Sec (line speed).
So I try to replace this main server and than have a look on all the
other possibilitys nearby.
