For my packages, I actually include the kernel headers extracted from the
binary RPMs. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (and the upcoming Fedora Core 4) has
a "kernel-devel" package which includes the headers -- this will be somewhat
of a help, but it doesn't address the problem of building both i586 and i686
packages.
