Hi!

Yeah, its me again, I'm kinda active now and try to let our cell work flawless
and fast, so sorry for my "lot of" posts here.

I'm trying to migrate an old database server from redhat AFS 1.2.13 to debian
1.3.79, and I saw, no kaserv in the 1.3.79 package.
Yes, the cell was setup with AFS builtin krb4, no kerberos 5, and now its time
to change this (I haven't setup the cell, I'm just the guy to work with :-| ).
Is there any nice official guide to migrate or anyone knows a page, a link, or
else with hints for me?

I plan to use the MIT kerberos as it it packaged in debian and should work well
with openafs on linux and windows, or do anyone has anything against that solution?
But first one big question ahead:
Do I need to switch from kaserver to kerberos 5 in one go or can I use both for
some time and the clients take the one they best fit in?
For me it is easier to let the old kaserv run and set a additional kerberos 5
server up and test the new server and than migrate slowly. Is this possible or not?

Thx for your patience and help.
Lars
