Stefaan, would you be so kind as to provide (either on- or off-list as
you prefer) a copy of your kernel config file and your openafs config
options?

I've tried running 1.3.79 servers on 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 and
2.6.11-gentoo-r3 (x86 arch) and I get very unstable operation in both
cases (kernel oops, segfaults, and such).
