Hmm.  Well, I *think* it had failed with an error in src/vol/clone.c,
but I just pulled down a fresh copy of that branch and it compiled
fine.  So now I will install it and see how well it works!

(I had tried a few different branches yesterday, so the clone.c error
might have been in a different branch)
