[OpenAFS] Fwd: Open AFS issues with Windows XP64 bit

Hi,

I have recently installed Windows XP 64bit  on a machine. Then I installed
the OpenAFS windows bins on it. AFS does not start on it.

What I can see in the afsd_init.log is following message :

2:45:00 AM: Failed to reset any lan adapters.

I read in the installation docs that "NETBIOS over TCP/IP must be enabled"

I tried to install NetBios on my XP box vai many ways but just couldnot get
it working. Is NetBios still supported on XP 64bit? If
yes How can install that.

My question is that has OpenAFS made any changes in the way that the windows
client starts, meaning that does
it use NetBios or any other thing.

Also can u suggest me any way in which in which I can istall the NetBIOS on
my XP box.
