[OpenAFS] Locked Volume

I don't normally make requests of the lists but my colleague (Owen leBlanc)=
 is on leave.=0A=

I have a volume that has become locked.  I'm not certain of the reason for =
this or even how to trace the problem.  There are actually 2 locked volumes=
  volume.name and volume.name.readonly.  There is a cron job that usually r=
uns to releases the read/write to the read only (I've paused this for the t=
ime being)=0A=
=0A=
I realise that I can issue  =0A=
vos unlock -id volume.name=0A=
BUT, I am unsure if there are any potential problems that this could cause.=

Can anyone offer any advice?=0A=
