I've run into a problem accessing new cells after installing 1.5.9903. =
I
would like to know if anyone else has this issue before I dig into it a=
ny
further. Here is what I see:
"The system cannot find the file specified" when trying to access a dri=
ve
mapped to the new cell. The afsd_init.log shows the mountpoint for the=
new
cell as "<cell>.ibm.com#<cell>.ibm.com:root.cell..". Notice that there=
is
an extra . at the end of the volume name. The extra dot is present in =
a
wireshark trace of the failed volume lookup and in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHI=
NE
\SOFTWARE\OpenAFS\Client\Freelance entry for the new cell.
If I delete an old cell and then try to access it after restarting AFS =
I
get the same issue. I don't get this behavior if I go back to 1.5.9902=
.
