I take it the further discussion which is transpiring is not in
opposition to this point:
there is critical mass to move on *this*, regardless of whether
something else happens
later.

I'm not really seeing value or particularly much weight *now* behind
trying to get this
into the standardization process *now*, given the resources which are
likely to be
available soon to work on this. To that end... is there any
disagreement with the above point,
that Simon's proposal is reasonable and actionable?
