It looks like I only mentioned on OpenAFS Jabber and didn't mention in my 
original email, that I basically agree that COMPOUND_IDENTITY and PRINTED 
are not needed at this time.  What I said there was (if I remember 
correctly), "we'll plan to remove them unless they get support on-list".
