This note is to announce a new gatekeeper as well as some changes in
affiliations for two members of our Council of Elders.

Council of Elders - Two members of the Council of Elders have recently
changed the organizations with which they are affiliated. Phil Moore is no
longer with Morgan Stanley. Derrick Brashear (formerly with Carnegie
Mellon University) has recently joined Sine Nomine.

Gatekeepers - The Council of Elders has voted to add Russ Allbery as an
additional OpenAFS gatekeeper. Russ Allbery is a senior systems
administrator and technical lead for Stanford University's Unix
infrastructure group. He has been one of Stanford's AFS and Kerberos
administrators for six years, an AFS user for twelve, has written or
co-written a variety of AFS and Kerberos tools, and has given presentations
on AFS and Kerberos tools at several AFS workshops. He is currently also
the lead maintainer for the INN news server and the chair of the IETF NNTP
working group. Russ joins the four other OpenAFS gatekeepers: Jeff Altman
(Secure Endpoints), Derrick Brashear (Sine Nomine), Jim Rees (University of
Michigan), and Garry Zacheis (MIT). Welcome, Russ!
