This has been suggested before. I don't recall ever hearing any arguments
against, and it's pretty easy to do in afs_lookup() if you require that they
all start with '@'.
I concur with Russ that *what* the @sys values are is not all that important.
Also, remember not to confuse 'sys' and @sys. They are completely independent
of each other.
