Just to throw in my $0.02 ... because I know people talk about that feature
of Domain/OS now and then.

Dynamic symlinks were possible in that operating system because the
OS equivalant of namei() happened in user space.  It would be hard to
implement in the way AFS is designed now (even with Arla, because you
need to look at someone else's environment).

I'm not saying that additional @xxx types might not be useful, but
full "dynamic symlink" support I think is not feasable.
