Yesterday I renewed my tiken before I left.  When I checked on the system a
little bit ago, the fsx process is still running consuming in excess of 99%
of the system processor time.  Ctrl-C, kill, kill -9, and renice 20 don't
help.  Any access of AFS from the machine hangs.  The cell and files are
still accessible from other client machines.

Interesting that it was able to crash to fairly respected NFS 
implementations (Linux & FreeBSD) and not AFS. =)
