Hi,
Afsd doesn't seem to shut down properly even when there are no processes
attached to /afs - please see the message below. Unfortunately, this
behavior is very unpredictable. I have seen this happen on RH 6.2 and RH
7.0. Any one noticing this kind of a problem? Any one know if there are
any known workarounds or sequence of steps to follow that would prevent this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------
root@yalp bin]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/afs stop
Stopping AFS services.....
inetd.afs: no process killed
umount: /afs: device is busy
Stopping AFS bosserver
libafs-2.2.14-5.0: Device or resource busy
[root@yalp bin]# fuser -a /afs
/afs:
No process references; use -v for the complete list
[root@yalp bin]# ps -aef|grep fs
xfs 663 1 0 May02 ? 00:00:00 xfs -droppriv -daemon -port -1
root 903 1 0 May02 pts/0 00:00:00 [afsd]
root 904 1 0 May02 pts/0 00:00:00 [afsd]
root 905 1 0 May02 pts/0 00:00:01 [afsd]
root 906 1 0 May02 pts/0 00:00:00 [afsd]
