  Could you be more specific? What do you have in mind when you say "fully
  dynamic?" That admins (or even users) could define their own @ variables
  on the fly?

That was my interpretation.  I don't see the point of expanding beyond @sys
unless we're going to allow arbitrary variable names.

I imagine the sytax being something like "fs setvarlink sys i386_obsd28."
Then something like "fs getvarlink" would list them all.
