Would it be possible to have the DELTA listed in the subject?

i.e.

OpenAFS CVS Commit: openafs/src/WINNT/client_creds
(windows-updates-20010108)
or
OpenAFS CVS Commit: openafs/src/WINNT/client_creds
(windows-updates-20010108) by shadow
or
OpenAFS CVS Commit: (windows-updates-20010108)
openafs/src/WINNT/client_creds

Would be nice to see that a particular delta is responsible for a whole pile
of messages without having to read each one. 

I think that given the developer environment currently with openafs the
first is probably more useful and takes up less space, since rarely is
anything committed by anyone other than Derrick. 

The third groups them cleaner in mailbox listings.
