Yup. I tried a couple of different ways, including a straight upgrade (rpm
-U), removing the old pkgs first and installing new, and removing the old
pkgs first, deleting all of /usr/vice, and installing new.

From the 2.4.18-5 system:

bash-2.05a# rpm -qa | grep openafs
openafs-client-1.2.7-rh7.3.2
openafs-1.2.7-rh7.3.2
openafs-kernel-1.2.7-rh7.3.2

bash-2.05a# uname -a
Linux theory-lab1.Stanford.EDU 2.4.18-5 #1 Mon Jun 10 15:31:48 EDT 2002
i686 unknown

bash-2.05a# rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-2.4.18-5
kernel-source-2.4.18-5
openafs-kernel-1.2.7-rh7.3.2
