I think I communicated with you via email about this.  I am going through
the patches again against a clean CVS checkout and resubmitting them to
the defect tracker so they apply cleanly and they're not forgotten.  I did
a couple of them before Thanksgiving break and am now back from vacation
and will check the rest of them.

I *have* attempted to break up the patches by "intent", which has caused
some minor problems.  If you want one major megapatch I'll be happy to
provide it.

I am contributing the patches because AFS is a big help to the company
that employs me, flexelint is great at catching bugs in C/C++ code,
and we have a copy.  If the patches are not wanted, that's not a
problem -- it's not my code, after all.
