Ok, that should be fine...

That looks like you have plenty of space, and it also looks like
you've got AFS mounted!

Ok, so it looks like AFS is mounted.  What do you get from:

        fs wheres /afs

What about:

        cat /usr/vice/etc/ThisCell

What commands did you give to afsd?
What other volumes do you have mounted?
