Hello all,

I don't know if this is the right OpenAFS list to ask, if it isn't my
apologies.

I am trying to get the OpenAFS client to work on OpenSSI.
With some help I managed to get OpenAFS-1.2.13 to compile.
(of course I needed to make changes to the sources, not that many even
to make it compile).

I/we compiled the src rpm by :

- move to the source directory:
/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/openafs-1.2.13

- then run configure :
./configure --with-afs-sysname=i386_linux24
     --with-linux-kernel-headers=/usr/src/linux-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_ssi_9

= then i just did a "make"

after the make I "expected" the rpms to end up in the RPMS directory,
but that didn't happen.

I have the impression that things at least compiled, now I need to find
a way to install the OpenAFS client (and everything that is needed)

does anyone have any pointers, tips ?

I'd really appreciate it.

thanks,

Ron
