No dynroot.. It seems to be triggered by having AFS home directories,
and logging in using KDE as a session manager on Debian sarge.
I recall seeing some locks held when looking at 'cmdebug localhost' in
the past.. So far my workaround has been to remove famd from the startup
scripts.
What should I be looking for when I get time to break my system and
reproduce this ;)
