[OpenAFS-devel] is 1.5.x possible to rely on?

Hi Gurus,

would you suggest whether it is possible to cautiously use 1.5-series
in production (which otherwise is apparently discouraged).

In other words, what kind of problems are to be expected
and whether there is a more or less safe subset of the features
to be used, or/and a set of "dangerous" features not to be touched
(we are e.g. _not_ thinking of disconnected usage).

We have tried 1.5.x as a test installation and did not encounter
any apparent problems - but we did not do any extensive testing either.

We do not have an AFS server infrastructure in place
and I am checking what a clean start might look like.
