[OpenAFS-devel] Problems with 1.4.8pre2 on Fedora 8

Hi,

I am running OpenAFS version 1.4.8pre2 since yesterday morning on my
64 bit Fedora 8 desktop machine with the latest 2.6.26.5-28.fc8 kernel.

I am seeing weird problems resulting in all sorts of problems like:

I can, however, go into my home directory and create files by hand just 
fine.

I see these "Connection timed out" also with access to other files in
my AFS home volume. Once in a while I can fix this by doing a
"fs flush /u/a/alfw/" but it doen't always help.
