[OpenAFS-devel] Error with first git push to gerrit

I am getting an error when I try to make my first git push to gerrit:

I forgot that I had an old, internal email address configured in git, so I
changed this, but I'm still getting the same error.

It's not at all clear to me how this email is used in gerrit, or what I have
to change to correct it.

How do I get around this?
