[OpenAFS-devel] Kernel 3.8 patches on 1.6.x

Kernel 3.8 has just been pushed to Fedora 18 today, and I imagine that
Fedora 17 will see it before it reaches EOL. I've cherry-picked the
following five patches from master to 1_6_x so that builds in RPM
Fusion can work again, and the OpenAFS client seems to work fine in
light testing on 3.8.1-201.fc18.x86_64.

Should I go ahead and submit these cherry-picks to Gerrit for 1_6_x?
I'm guessing that not all of these are strictly necessary for kernel
3.8, but it seems like they would be nice to have for future 1.6.x
releases.
