== 1.6.x ==

The following changes have been merged to the openafs-stable-1_6_x branch for
the 1.6.21 release.

Recent additional change candidates under review in gerrit:

  12633  vol: modify volume updateDate upon salvage change
  12631  bozo: do not fail silently on unknown bosserver options

The recent gerrit submissions for ubik related changes have been
deferred until post 1.6.21, pending additional review and back port to
1.6.x.

  12592  ubik: avoid early DISK_Begin calls we know will fail
  12609  ubik: update epoch as soon as sync-site is elected
  12613  ubik: allow remote dbase relabel if up to date

== 1.8.x ==

Ben reports he has now has a decent test bed, and is working on
trying to reproduce the bug report 133654 on rt.central.org yet.

== Buildbot upgrade ==

The version of buildbot currently running on buildbot.openafs.org must be
upgraded to support modern buildbot clients. The upgraded buildbot will
continue to support old, existing clients.

A updated buildbot configuration has been written for the new buildbot
(version 0.9x) and has been pushed to github;

More testing will be done before cutting over to the new version. In the mean
time, the FreeBSD client (which requires the new buildbot) has been temporarily
removed from the list of gerrit builders.
