OpenAFS release team weekly meeting

The weekly release team meetings are held on Fridays at 14:00 GMT on jabber
(xmpp) in release-team@conference.openafs.org.  Please request login

1.8.x series
============

To be included in 1.8.3:

13535 man-pages: create the man3 subdirectory in prep-noistall

ENOENT fixes 13530 and related to be deferred to 1.8.4pre1.

1.6.x series
============

* 1.6.24 expected with 1.8.4.
* Strategy going forward would be to release 1.6.x series less
  frequently than 1.8.x releases.

master
======

A new 1.9.x release series will track the master branch.

Stephan to update the NEWS file to list changes in 1.9.x.

buildbot/infra
==============

The LetsEncrypt TLS cert for buildbot/gerrit/git/conference expires in less
than a week and the certbot is using an deprecated verification method. Ben
will be installing a new certbot.  While there,  will also make the changes
needed to support TLS on the new buildbot.openafs.org (apache config for
websockets)

Also, more macos buildbot workers should be online soon for recent versions of
macos.
