Agreement on releasing 1.8.8.2 to support Linux 5.17 and possibly some Solaris
and FBSD specific patches.

1.9.x devel/master

Cheyenne reports Linux 5.17-rc4 builds cleanly on master.

Ben to ping Registrar about CellServDB update for gerrit 14842:

14842 CellServDB: cern.ch, ams.cern.ch rely on DNS
