Dear OpenAFS Developers,

I am Tejas V, and I=E2=80=99m interested in contributing to OpenAFS for Goo=
gle
Summer of Code 2025. I joined the #openafs IRC channel on March 24 as

excited about the "Develop a GNOME Shell Extension for OpenAFS" project
listed on the GSoC project ideas page.

I have experience with JavaScript and have recently started learning about
GNOME Shell extensions and OpenAFS client operations. I=E2=80=99d love to d=
iscuss
this project further & specifically, which features you=E2=80=99d prioritiz=
e for
the extension and any challenges I should be aware of when interacting with
the OpenAFS client.
