Greetings,
I=92m a final-year university student with some extra time this semester, a= nd I=92d like to contribute to OpenAFS (outside of GSoC). I have a strong b= ackground in C, C++, networking, and low-level programming. Previously, I c= ontributed to a C++ project through GSoC (link) and interned in a C++-focused rol= e at a high-frequency trading firm.
I wanted to talk about the =93netcat for rx=94 project idea, as I=92m parti= cularly interested in gaining more experience with network protocols. That = said, my broader goal is to work on higher-priority issues; ideally ones th= at will help me get better at navigating large codebases, ramping up quickly on new projects, and contributing inde= pendently.
Could you kindly suggest good starting points, or if there are other areas = where contributions would be especially valuable to the community?
Best regards,
Ujjwal Shekhar
