[OpenAFS-devel] OpenAFS Google Summer of Code 2026 Contributors

We are happy to announce three contributors have been selected to work
with OpenAFS for this year's Google Summer of Code.

Please join us in welcoming:

* Junsouh Hong (CMU) - afsio enhancements
* Bastien Desert (EPITA) - fs examine path enhancements
* Alexandra Mincă (Polytechnic University of Bucharest) - shell completion

The selection process was particularly difficult this year due to the high
number and quality of submissions we received. We would like to extend a
sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to draft and submit a proposal.
Even if your project was not selected this time, we truly appreciate your
interest in OpenAFS and hope you continue to engage with our development
community.

Thank you Andrew Deason, Mark Vitale, Cheyenne Wills, and Marcio Barbosa
for reviewing the proposals.

I also want to thank Kailas Zadbuke for volunteering to mentor
this year.  Your time and talent is greatly appreciated.
